![]() ![]() I've created a sample PDF: I also created a TIFF file from it using: gs -q -sDEVICE=tiffg3 -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -sOutputFile=Sample.pdf. I'm playing with ghostscript to convert the PDF. I'm having massive quality issues when trying to convert a PDF to a TIFF file for use with faxing. Hi all, I've been trying to nut this out for 2 days now with no success. ![]() ![]() Is there anything obvious that I’m missing? When I try to fax, I get a couple lines on the Asterisk console that say “Using SIP RTP CoS mark 5” and “Using UDPTL CoS mark 5”, but nothing else happens. The inbound calls are coming in via SIP, and the context for it has t38pt_udptl=yes. I’ve got the Fax for Asterisk add-ons installed (“fax show stats” shows the expected output), and I copied the incoming section of your dialplan essentially wholesale (only changed the tif location to /tmp instead of /var/.). I use of spandsp for asterisk and I use gs for converting pdf to tiff.įirst, thanks for the guide! I am having some issues getting things to work, however. I want to write script for sending fax with asterisk, but many of my fax have error when sending. How can I generate a FAX compatible multi-page TIFF file from a PDF file?
